The second meeting of the Veterinary Medicine Team at the Lublin Medicine – Medical & Wellness Cluster was held on 24th January 2018.
The participants were provided with information about the ProVaHealth project implemented as a part of the Baltic Sea Region Programme 2014-2020, co-financed by the European Union under the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), as well as works on updating the Cluster’s strategy including internationalisation and marketing strategies, and the possibility of using the Database Development Services Base (Baza Usług Rozwojowych) in financing development needs of the enterprises.
Ms. Wioletta Ostrowska – innovation broker of the Centre for Transfer of Knowledge and Technology, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, discussed a new solution in the field of “Plant-based preparations in the treatment of nosemosis in honeybees and an increase their immunity”.
An information base on Lublin veterinary medicine and entities operating in this area was another key topic of the meeting.
