It is the first centre of its kind in the European Union and the third in the world, after Lugano and Singapore.
On Saturday, October 23, 60 ophthalmologists from Italy, Romania and the Czech Republic took part in courses, organised for the first time, within the framework of the ESASO Branch, established on the basis of the Medical Simulation Centre of the Medical University in Lublin.
The Centre will train ophthalmologists from all over the world, as well as residents and students.
