We talked about new solutions in medical software and digitization in the healthcare sector with Mr. Łukasz Borzęcki, Director of Product Development and Product Manager of the CGM CLININET system.
CompuGroup Medical Polska, headquartered in Lublin, specializes in medical IT and has been active in the market since the 1990s. The company is part of the international CompuGroup Medical holding, headquartered in Germany, which exclusively brings together entities focused on healthcare IT worldwide.
The main system developed by our Cluster member is CGM CLININET, a Hospital Information System (HIS) designed for large hospitals and clinics. Currently, the company serves over 100 clients, including: the University Clinical Hospital No. 1 in Lublin, CRH Żagiel Med, University Clinical Center in Gdańsk, University Clinical Center of the Medical University of Warsaw (WUM), State Medical Institute of the Ministry of Interior and Administration in Warsaw, the Children’s Memorial Health Institute in Warsaw, and the Franciszek Łukaszczyk Oncology Center in Bydgoszcz. The system supports all aspects of hospital operations, from patient registration to settlements with the National Health Fund (NFZ). The company currently employs around 250 people, including 50 programmers who continuously work on developing IT systems for healthcare.
During the meeting, we discussed the need to intensify collaboration and integration among Lublin-based IT companies operating in the medical sector. Responding to this need, the management of CompuGroup Medical Polska declared that the company could act as the integrator for regular meetings within the Lublin Medicine Cluster.
