At the Lublin Medical Cluster, we actively support our members in their dynamic growth and international expansion. We facilitate the exchange of experiences, provide access to expert knowledge, and co-organise business missions abroad.
During our recent conference, “Export Lublin – Central Asia: Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan”, which we co-organised, our long-standing member, Technomex, played an active role, sharing its valuable export experience.
Ms Bogusława Łysakowska-Bedek, Vice President and Export Manager at Technomex, travelled from Gliwice to offer practical advice and key insights from the perspective of an experienced exporter. Her presentation provided a hands-on look at B2B relationships with business partners in Central Asia.
Key insights
🔹 Understanding the market is fundamental. Central Asia is a diverse region, and Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, with their rapid development and growing investments in the medical sector, offer promising opportunities. However, each market has its own unique characteristics and requires an individualised approach.
🔹 Overcoming challenges through strategy. Companies looking to succeed in Central Asia must navigate obstacles such as language barriers, differences in legal regulations, logistical complexities, and competition. To achieve success, it is essential to build trust, understand local business culture, remain flexible, adapt products to market needs, invest in training and education for partners and clients, conduct thorough market research, and leverage modern technology for communication and management.
🔹 Collaboration is key to growth. Working within a business cluster offers a platform for exchanging experiences, establishing valuable business connections, and engaging in joint promotional efforts. Regular cooperation with industry organisations, public administration, and government agencies can provide crucial support in the export process—whether through market access facilitation or participation in trade fairs.
We sincerely thank Technomex and Ms Łysakowska-Bedek for their willingness to collaborate and for sharing their expertise during our event.
