Gratitude to Dr hab. Bartosz Solowiej, Assoc. Prof. ULSL

On behalf of the entire Lublin Medicine Cluster community, we would like to express our gratitude to Mr. Bartosz Sołowiej – Professor of the University of Life Sciences in Lublin for accepting our invitation to cooperate as part of the Lub Tech Smart Food 2023 conference and taking on the role of conference host, thanks to which such an important for the Cluster community, the City of Lublin and the Lublin Voivodeship conference has been conducted at a high substantive level.

Dr hab. Bartosz Sołowiej, Assoc. Prof. ULSL – Vice-Rector for Science and International Cooperation of the University of Life Sciences in Lublin, scientist and university manager. He graduated from the prestigious program of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education “Top 500 Innovators – Science. Management. Commercialization” at the University of California, Berkeley in the United States, and “Leaders in University Management” at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) in Germany. Lecturer, scholarship holder and participant in many programs and internships, at renowned universities, e.g., in Australia, Canada, Slovakia, Serbia, Isreal and China. Expert at the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). Author/co-author of many scientific publications from the so-called Philadelphia List. Participant in international and national training programs on food and nutrition, and dietary supplementation. Since 2009, international lecturer (Spain, Greece, France, Turkey, Netherlands, Lithuania, Estonia, Czech Republic) on food technology and human nutrition under the Erasmus Teaching Staff Mobility program. As a researcher, he works on improving the functional properties of food products, designing new products and dietary supplements for athletes and physically active people.
