Members of the Lublin Medicine Cluster are joining forces in the “InnoDesign” project to create spaces for young patients.

The University Children’s Hospital in Lublin, Lublin University of Technology, and Simba Group, as part of the Lubelska Medycyna Cluster, have collaborated to modernize the outdoor spaces of the Children’s Hospital for young patients.

This partnership brings together a Lublin-based manufacturer of professional and certified playgrounds for children with specialists from the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture at Lublin University of Technology. These specialists focus on the functioning of contemporary public spaces and the design of healthcare facilities. Combined with the support of the management team at the Children’s Hospital, this collaboration promises to create modern, safe, and welcoming spaces that can positively impact the well-being and treatment of young patients.

The InnoDesign project aims to involve members and partners of the Cluster in designing innovations and improvements—technological, organizational, and social—in response to the identified needs of end-users, including people with chronic illnesses, disabilities, and seniors.
