The City of Lublin organised the ‘International Health Tourism Forum – Lublin 2019’ on October 7, 2019.
As the coordinator of the Lublin Medicine Cluster, Lublin proudly hosted over 25 speakers and panellists from Poland, the USA, Germany, Great Britain, Croatia, Ukraine and the United Arab Emirates. Medical tourism experts shared best-practices and know-how adding to the overall understanding of what, in fact, inbound medical tourism is. Subjects being discussed, among others, aimed to answer questions like: how to build a comprehensive offer for offshore patients; how to identify target markets and finally how to facilitate quality-based service in medical tourism.
The conference was also a good opportunity to explore upcoming trends in the health tourism for the years to come. International setting of the conference was yet another asset that allowed to broaden the knowledge on the characteristics of the industry, targeted markets and customer needs.
We wish to thank all speakers and panellists for their contribution and recognise valuable input from the audience.
