New Chemical Syntheses Institute conducts research and development work in the field of chemical and biological sciences with a special interest in chemical engineering, including:
- synthesis and inorganic technology
- synthesis gases, hydrogen, ammonia, nitric acid and nitrogen compounds, phosphoric acid and phosphorous compounds, mineral fertilisers, mineral feed additives
- synthesis and organic technology
- urea and methanol derivatives, biodegradable polymers based on plant raw materials, polyurethane foams on melamine basis
- biotechnology
- extraction of plant products with CO2 under supercritical conditions
- applied catalysis – heterogeneous catalysts, sorbents, catalyst supports
- environmental protection
The Institute conducts R&D projects within the country and abroad, whose results, i.e. products and services, are implemented on the market.
