Cluster benchmarking 2020 – potential of clusters in Poland and Polish-Norwegian cooperation. Presentation of innovative activity of the Lublin Medicine Cluster

Best practice of the Lublin Medicine Cluster in the area of innovative activity was presented during a two-day event (May 25th and 26th 2021) organized by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development. The event was dedicated to the presentation of the results of the „Cluster Benchmarking 2020″ and the debate on the condition of Polish clusters, their readiness for dynamic changes in the economy, cooperation with the external environment, including international cooperation, and the use of new trends, technologies and digital transformation in clusters. During the event, good practices of Polish and Norwegian clusters were discussed, as well as potential areas for the implementation of joint ventures and projects.

The representative of the Lublin Medicine Cluster – Marzena Strok-Sadło – a Management Board Member of the Cluster and the Head of the Business Ecosystems Office in the Strategy and Entrepreneurship Department, Lublin City Office, was invited to the panel of experts – “Prospects for the clusters – trends, challenges, opportunities and threats based on the results of the Cluster Benchmarking 2020”. The panel was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development, Labour and Technology, Polish Agency for Enterprise Development, Warsaw School of Economics, Polish Clusters Association and the West Pomeranian Chemical Cluster “Green Chemistry”.
